After three years of waiting, the sequel to the hit film ‘Murder Mystery’, starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, has finally arrived on Netflix.a couple whose chemistry and good sense of humor promise to leave you speechless.
And it is that this new installment, directed by Jeremy Garelick, the policeman with bad aim and the stylist will once again be involved in a homicide in which all potential clues point towards themselves.
Of course, unlike the first part, ‘Murder Mystery 2’ has more action and comedy. “In the first we were young, rookies. Now we understand the murder. We love murder!” Adam Sandler told EFE in an interview. “There is much more action, triple action!” Aniston revealed when asked about the best thing about the long-awaited sequel.
Another of the great surprises of this second installment is the addition of actor Enrique Arce (“La Casa de Papel”, “Forgive me, Lord”) as part of the cast. The Spaniard is in charge of giving life to Francisco Pérez, a retired soccer player who will join the adventures of Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.
In this regard, Arce revealed that when this opportunity knocked on his door, he did not need to think twice, since he knew that it would not happen again. “When the offer came to me, I said: ‘How did I end up in a film like this, with these people whom I admire and have followed so much?’, I only have a feeling of gratitude with life,” he said in interview with La Vibra.
“This is the first time they have called me to come directly to the United States, so For me it is the biggest project of my life, even bigger than ‘La Casa de Papel’. This is the biggest thing I’ve done and I’m sure I’ll do it in a long time,” he said.
He also explained that ‘Murder Mystery 2’ is two hours of guaranteed laughter for the public. “It’s a comedy where not even the baddest bad guy is bad, it’s a very friendly comedy,” he added.
In addition to the addition of Enrique Arce, the public will be able to enjoy the performance of personalities such as Mark Strong, Adeel Akhtar, Mélanie Lurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma and Dany Boon, to name a few.
