The box office milestones of ‘Avatar: The Sense of Water’ do not stop happening. Just a few days ago we told you that it had finally exceeded 2,000 million dollars in worldwide revenue and today it is news again, since the film directed by James Cameron is already the third highest grossing in history in Spain.
The sequel to ‘Avatar’ already accumulates 42.45 million euros in Spainsurpassing in this way both ‘Titanic’, which remained at 41.6 million euros (although this next Valentine’s Day will have a golden opportunity to raise that figure) and ‘The Impossible’, which raised 42.4 million euros at the time.
In this way, ‘Avatar: The sense of water’ only has ahead of ‘Eight Basque surnames’ (55.3 million euros) and ‘Avatar’ (79.3 million euros). It is clear that it will not reach the figures of the first installment, but it should not be ruled out that it ends up surpassing the comedy starring Daniel Rovira. He still has several weeks ahead of him without any blockbuster in sight -the next to be released will be ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ on February 17-.
