Actress Jada Pinkett Smith speaks for the first time about Will Smith’s slap in the face of Chris Rock and calls for it to be fixed.
It’s been a while since the Oscars Ceremony was held where the actor Will Smith got up and hit the presenter Chris Rock for making a joke of his wife, also an actress Jada Pinkett Smith.
Since then, Chris Rock has not stopped working and his “comedy club” style talk shows are very popular, while at Will Smith all projects he had in progress have been paused or canceled and he has been prohibited from participating in the ceremonies of the oscars in the next 10 years. so his wife Jada Pinkett Smith took advantage of a new episode of Red Table Talk to say:
“My deepest hope is that these two smart and capable men have a chance to heal, talk about this and reconcile. The state of our world today, we need you both and we all need each other more than ever.”
“Until then, Will and I will continue to do what we’ve done for the last 28 years and that is continue to figure out this thing called life together.”
He also talked about the condition he suffers from:
“This is a really important Red Table Talk about alopecia.” Said Jada Pinkett Smith. “Given what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have contacted me with their stories. I’m taking this time to talk about what it means to have this condition and educate people about what alopecia really is.”
“I think the part that makes it the hardest for me is that it comes and goes. So you’re going through a gush of something and you have to shave your head because it’s falling off. Your patch grows and then another patch comes out and that gives me a lot of anxiety: What will my hair look like today? concluded Jada Pinkett Smith.
