Mercadona’s monthly news is one of the things we look forward to the most and this month is no different. As happened to us with the February news, we are eager to try the ones that arrive in March. Specifically, there is one that has already stolen our hearts and we have not yet been able to try it: the new pistachio cream.
Until now we could already buy the Mercadona peanut butter (a regular in my desserts and breakfasts), but now this cream made with one of the most popular nuts has been added. So much so that he’s already asking for it as has happened with other Mercadona products, such as the Evening Primrose oil that swept social networks for its anti-aging properties.
In this case, the product doesn’t seem to have any miraculous features, but it does seem to be delicious. Specifically, this cream from the Hacendado brand is made from 45% pistachio, unlike peanut butter which is 100% peanut. In addition to pistachio, the cream has sugar as a second ingredient, powdered buttermilk, sunflower oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter.
Unfortunately, we still can’t find it in all the chain’s supermarkets, but what we already know is that its price will be 3.90 euros the jar of 200 grams.
It is true that it is a product with a lot of sugar, not as healthy as peanut butter, but to treat ourselves to our breakfast, or in a dessert, it seems to us the most and threatens to become a regular in our pantries.
