Last night the last episode of ‘In the name of Rocío’ was broadcast on Telecinco. The second season of ‘Rocío. Tell the truth to stay alive’ she said goodbye with a emotional final although some irregular hearings.
“This Comes to an End”
Rocío Carrasco concluded last night the journey started in 2021 in a final episode full of emotions. ‘In the name of Rocío’ closed the road traveled with these two seasons, in which she has been able to tell her experience and her point of view on various topics, such as Rocío Jurado’s will or her reasons for moving away from the Mohedano clan.
Jorge Javier Vázquez could not contain the tears when saying goodbye of Carrasco. “The time has come for us to tell you how important and special it has been for all of us,” he told her excitedly before giving way to the farewell video from the entire team.
After viewing the emotional farewell (narrated by Anaís Peces), Carrasco also wanted to correspond with a few words: “This journey began two years ago. It has been a very hard road but very beautiful, very healing and very satisfying“. He wanted to dedicate it to his entire team, to Mediaset, to the viewers and to Vázquez, presenter of the program and close friend of his.
As for how the broadcast of the docuseries has worked in audiences, its journey has been somewhat irregular. Although for the viewer crisis that Telecinco is going through, it has managed to maintain an average of more than 1 million viewers, it has not managed to live up to expectations. Not only because it did not manage to exceed the numbers of its premiere but also because has not reached the data of his previous season (whose average almost reached 3 million viewers).
So, ‘In the name of Rocío’ closes its doors with a 13.3% share and 1,140,000 viewers, remaining the third most watched program of the night. An achievement that practically none of Telecinco’s latest bets can boast of, even if they failed to wrest the lead from ‘Masterchef Celebrity’ on La 1 and ‘Hermanos’ on Antena 3.
