This spring comes loaded with anime premieres, and between the new ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ and ‘Dr. Stone’ also come several novelties stomping. One of the new series that comes to us in April is ‘Oshi no Ko‘, based on the new manga from the author of ‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War’.
‘Oshi no Ko’ prepares a premiere in style in theaters before the series starts fully on television, and little by little we are seeing more advances of this shady story about idols.
Drama with a lot of rhythm ahead
Precisely the main theme of the series is called ‘Idol’ and is sung by YOASOBI, and we can already hear a little preview in the new anime trailer. In addition to revealing its opening theme, the signing of Megumi Han as Kana Arima has also been confirmed.
Before the premiere of ‘Oshi no Ko’ in April, the first chapter of the series will be able to be seen in theaters in Japan to open the story with a special episode of 90 minutes. It remains to be confirmed the specific day on which the anime starts, which can be seen in simulcast through HIDIVE.

‘Oshi no Ko‘ began to be published in 2020 with a script by aka akasaka and drawings of Mengo Yokoyari in Shukan Young Jump. The story opens with Ai Hoshino, a successful idol who comes to a country doctor’s office to secretly give birth. Doctor Gorou Honda promises him a safe delivery, but is killed by Ai’s stalker.
