On November 2, 2021, Ana Rosa Quintana announced that I would leave ‘The Ana Rosa Program’ due to breast cancer that he was suffering. After several attempts to resume it, postponed following medical recommendations, the journalist has finally announced her return to the set next Monday.
Overcome the disease, Quintana will join the season to season 19 of the morning magazine of interviews and review of current affairs. This is how the presenter announced her return:
I feel like a rookie on her first day on the show. Eleven months have passed and I am looking forward to meeting again with my colleagues, with the spectators, who have accompanied me so much during these long months, and with the blessed routine.
I’ve been doing live shows for thirty years and this is the second time I’ve been away from my passion for a few months: journalism and telling life live. The previous one was very happy because of my pregnancy and this one has been a little more complicated, but also with a happy ending. I have desire, illusion and the need to recount every morning the moment, also complicated, that we have had to live.
Many very important things have happened in these months; events that I would have loved to witness live, but an exciting time awaits us that I hope to continue narrating with enthusiasm and hope and, above all, continue to feel the support of the spectators and my colleagues who have helped me so much on the hard days .
His fellow program is also very excited with his return: “This program has been an orphan for almost a year of what inspires us because we feel that a piece is missing” commented Joaquín Prat. “People have supported us, I think because of the immense affection they have for her, but we were missing the one who is the soul of the program,” Patricia Pardo declared.
‘El programa de Ana Rosa’ is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 8:55 to 13:30 on Telecinco.
