Last night’s guest on ‘El Hormiguero’ was Frank Cuesta. The presenter came to talk about his new projects, as well as theThe state of his wife after being released from prison and why he got bored of television.
“It was very boring”
Frank Cuesta visited ‘El Hormiguero’ on Wednesday to talk about his recent projects, after shows like ‘Frank de la jungla’ or ‘La selva en casa’. First of all, Pablo Motos asked Cuesta about the current state of Yuyeehis ex-wife, who had just been released from prison after six months detained for alleged cocaine trafficking:
He has recovered psychologically but at the same time he has a lot of defects. He has a lot of fears. Every time she takes a plane, every time she sees a policeman… that stays forever. She also had trouble sleeping, it was hard for her to sleep in a bed. But she has adapted very well because of the children. I evaporated as soon as the psychologist told me: “Leave her alone with the children”, and she has been very good to her.
Cuesta said that he continues to live in Thailand because that is where he has a sanctuary with about 300 animals, including sparks the otter to which he is most attached and who “understands you best”: “I don’t have many friends left. People bore me” he added.
As a result of his new project, Motos also asked him about his reasons for leaving television and Cuesta remarked that it was out of boredom:
It was very boring. I like to have fun. On TV I had a lot of fun until the moment when they force you to do things and tell you: “You are going to do a dog show.” Do you see me doing a dog show? Well I did two. And that’s it. TV is over.
