Spanish reality shows work for Netflix. The platform will continue betting on the entertainment genre and has already announced the next projects that will be added to his catalog in the near future: sequels to smash hits like ‘Soy Georgina’ or ‘Amor con fianza’ and a mysterious project that promises to be his own ‘La isla de las tentaciones’.

In the presentation made by Netflix at FestVal (Vitoria-Gasteiz Television Festival), Álvaro Díaz (director of entertainment at Netflix Spain) commented on the news that the platform has in hand in terms of realities. Starting with long-awaited second seasons of formats like ‘Amor con bail’in which they have traveled to Sardinia and will be released soon.
‘I’m Georgina’, which has been crowned the most successful on the platform, is also preparing its second batch of episodes. The program on the life of Georgina Rodríguez (influencer, as well as wife of Cristiano Ronaldo) will have a marked change of tone compared to its previous season, due to the delicate situation that the couple went through (the loss of one of their children).
Regarding new projects, Díaz confirmed that prepare a reality show about couples putting their relationship to the test. He is still considering options for the title, which will be produced by Cuarzo (the same production company as ‘La isla de las tentaciones’ and ‘El programa de Ana Rosa’).
In the round of questions, they also commented on the chances to continue ‘Tamara Falcó: the marchioness’ or ‘First Class’. The platform is still considering it and has not made a final decision on it. More difficult is a season 3 of ‘Insiders’, which only had the first two recorded and, although it has not been completely ruled out, its continuity is complicated. They were also open to rescue the ‘Operación Triunfo’ brand although “they would have to talk about it” with Tinet Rubira.
The closest in time is ‘Who likes my follower?’, which was officially announced together with its presenters Luján Argüelles, Jedet, Aroyitt and Jonan Wiergo. The dating show about dates between influencers opens on September 8 and it will do so by suddenly uploading all the episodes on the platform.
