Darth Vader is once again at the epicenter of Star Wars. The return of Hayden Christensen opens the door to a solo project.
the star of starwars, Hayden Christensenrecently shared his opinion on a possible television series of Darth Vader. The actor came to the galactic saga in 2002. He gave life to Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the clones and resumed his role in Revenge of the Sith. After 17 years, the interpreter will return to the role of the legendary Sith Lord in the program of Obi-Wan Kenobimeeting again with Ewan McGregor. A long-awaited return that has fans of the franchise completely excited.
During an interview given to DigitalSpyHayden Christensen shared her thoughts on a potential TV show from Disney+ starring Darth Vader. When asked how the actor would feel about a solo series of the iconic Star Wars Sith Lord, the performer stated that he would be open to the opportunity if the saga gives him the opportunity. He’s almost asking for it!
“There is still a lot to explore,” admitted the actor.
“If the opportunity presented itself, I would be all for it,” Hayden Christensen said of a Darth Vader series. “I think this Star Wars character is very complex. There is still a lot to explore about him. If the powers that be lean in my favor, I would be really excited to have a TV series to do it.” The ball, then, is in the court of lucasfilm.
The story of Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader was almost completely developed during the end of the Ancient Republic. So we saw it in Revenge of the Sith. And also at the end of galactic empire, as we saw in the original Star Wars trilogy. The period between the prequels and A new hope it offers Hayden Christensen the best opportunity to explore the character, as he says. There are several books and current comics that examine those parts and they are very interesting. They are narrative tropes that they could perhaps end up using in a Disney+ TV show.
