This Monday begins the trial of the former American film producer Harvey Weinsteinwho will again have to face charges for sexual abuse and harassment before a court of The Angels.
Weinstein, who for decades was one of the leading figures in the television industry Hollywoodis currently serving a sentence of 23 years in prison in a New York jail after being convicted of the crimes of rape and sexual assault.
Now, however, the 70-year-old businessman will have to answer for 11 counts of sexual assault which include rape and forced oral sex against women in hotels in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, between the years 2004 and 2013.
The trial is expected to last around two months and, if convicted, the movie mogul could be sentenced to others. 140 years behind bars.

New York Times unleashes the scandal with the publication of a report detailing decades of accusations of sexual harassment against Harvey Weinstein. Among the complainants stand out the actresses rose mcgowan Y Ashley Judd. The accusations ranged from forcing them to see him naked, to promising to help them advance their careers in exchange for “massages” or sexual favors.

It is announced that Harvey Weinstein has been fired from The Weinstein Company after the former producer apologized, acknowledging that “he has caused a lot of pain”, but denying the accusations of harassment of three former employees.
October 10, 2017
The accusations of 13 women more are published in the magazine new yorker, including three rape allegations that Weinstein strongly denies. Among the testimonies is the actress Asian Argentinian and a former aspiring actress named Lucia Stellerwho accuse him of forcing them to have sex in 1997 and 2004, respectively.
Mira Sorvinowho starred in several of Weinstein’s films, told the new yorker that Weinstein also sexually harassed her, while Hollywood stars, Gwyneth Paltrow Y Angelina Jolie They join the voices of the victims and affirm that the former producer harassed them in their youth.

As police in the United States and the United Kingdom begin an investigation into the allegations against Weinstein, the actress rose mcgowan exposes on Twitter that the former producer abused her.
