Despite the years, the magical world of Harry Potter maintains its iconic spark and could even have an adaptation to the small screen with a series reboot. As reported by the site Bloomberg, Warner Bros. is about to close a deal for a series based on the books by JK Rowling.
If completed, the project would be transmitted through the platform streaming on HBO Max and would have seven seasons, each of which would refer to one of the books in the saga.
This is not the first time that there has been talk about a possible series of Harry Potter. However, never before have there been so many details regarding the project, such as the fact that HBO Max would be the platform on which each episode will be broadcast, the number of seasons contemplated, and the context that each of these would have.
Even so, it is possible that the series shows alternate stories that happened in parallel to the experiences of Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Although it is not known if the main actors will reprise their roles or if new talent will appear, the fans of the magical saga are already betting that the project will come to fruition, especially since they have seen how Warner Bros. is working on the relaunch of its great franchises, as in the case of The Lord of the rings.
Finally, Bloomberg mentioned that Warner Bros. could confirm the series of Harry Potter over the course of the next week, as part of a new strategy of streaming by the hand of HBO Max, in which the next projects for DC Entertainment will also be announced, among other series and films.
