Some years have passed, but his music and his genius are present. life and style He talked with them and they tell us about the moment they are living and enjoying in a much more mature career.
Facing a different industry
The Hanson brothers band is celebrating 30 years of experience and that is quite a challenge today.
“It is very exciting to be able to say that we have three decades in the making. We have always thought about going one album at a time and we are very proud to continue doing what we love,” said Taylor.
The music industry moved in a different way three decades ago and they have resented it, however Isaac has a reading of how it has changed. “The main way I can say that I feel is different is how you get the music, because now everything is available through any platform or subscription, it can be Spotify, Apple Music, Disney, Google, that makes it more global,” reflects the older of the brothers.
“Now the challenge is to have the connection with what you are producing, because there is so much content and it is so easy to acquire that this requires you to be better. It is like a live concert, every night is different and that is the important thing about doing this for the people,” added Isaac.
Possibly their fans who started with them would have wanted to have a response from this teenage band, as social networks now allow and this resource is not very far from what Hanson does now.
“Social media brings you much closer to people and you know when someone loves your song or video, and they share it everywhere. Of course it’s a very powerful tool,” Zachary said.
“Also, this shows that you have a life below the stage that you can share other things with your fans and that they have value for the stories of the songs or what we live,” says Taylor.
Red Green Blue
: his new production
Red Green Blue it’s the material for 16 tracks released in the summer of 2022. “These colors define our personalities and the themes on this album,” explains Taylor.
“We could be like a kind of Power Ranger,” Zachary jokes. The metaphor of this title is that depending on this combination, any color can be achieved, with light, paint, a versatile mix.
“For this album we work different sounds to nurture this experience, RGB it shows our coincidences because we have a lot working together, but there are different styles in our way of living music”, detailed Isaac. “In my case, which is green, it is a work of authorship to tell stories and a more personal narration” complement.
“In the case of the ‘blue’ on this album it’s a much more emotional and feel-oriented way, where we’re leaning on a piano and things that we haven’t focused on as much,” says Taylor.
“Also we have the pop/rock style and some indie, so the percussions are present and give a lot of life to RGBZachary added.
For their Red Green Blue 2022 tour they will visit five cities in Mexico: September 25, Mexico City at the BlackBerry Auditorium; September 27, Guadalajara at the Diana Theater; September 28, León at the Parque Explora Forum; September 29, Querétaro at the Metropolitan Theater; October 1, at Pavilion M in Monterrey.
Still Hanson 30 years later
The natives of Tulsa, Oklahoma have experienced success, tours, a changing industry, but their lives are also different, the three of them have already married and have their own families, so artistic life has another role in their lives.
“It’s important to have quality time with family, we’re from a big family and it’s important to take care of her and the place she has in our career,” Taylor said. “It’s always important to have a balance between work and family, so we look for the spaces to be present in this,” she added.
“Now that you can make a video call, but there are social networks, video games, you have to find the space to not lose control of this little chaos,” Zachary joked.
For the Hanson brothers, showing their family why they spend so much time away doing what they love and having that bond with their families is part of the engine of continuing to be on stage.
The American trio is clear that the world is very troubled and that opinions have become very radical, the case that is being experienced in their country regarding women’s rights, migration, political positions and more, for which they call listen to each other.
“It is normal that we have opinions, you have your idea of what the world is and share it with people who are open to understanding other ways of seeing life, but trying to stand in the middle of the street to say what you believe and if you don’t do it like him you’re wrong, it doesn’t seem like a good idea,” Taylor said.
“I have many friends and family with whom I do not agree with certain ideas of how they think, but I know them, I know they are good people, I love them and I treat them with respect, that is the important thing about not agreeing with everyone, listen and understand their motives,” Isaac reflected.
It’s important to qualify these social media stances to real life in Zachary’s opinion.
