“It’s good to have friends” is the title of the new Guardians of the Galaxy clip, where Rocket and four of his friends are shown in the times where the raccoon was part of the High Evolutionary’s experiments.
In this clip, in addition to seeing the younger version of Rocket, we also see Lylla, Teefs and Floor, the other experiments who forged a friendship with Rocket.
The director of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, acknowledged that the one who has stolen the spotlight in his two previous films is Rocket, one of the reasons for returning to finish telling his story.
“Rocket has always been the secret lead in the Guardians movies… From the very beginning, he’s been ingrained in who he is as a character. I think he exemplifies many of the traits of all Guardians. They’ve had all these traumas, and that brings them together. I just think yours is more extreme than others”.

the end of an era
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits looks a little different these days.
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team around him to defend the universe and protect one of his own.
A mission that, if not completed successfully, could very possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will feature a cast consisting of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, David Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Pom Klementieff as the voice of Mantis and Karen Gillan as Nebula.
This production is joined by Will Poulter in the role of Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji as High Evolutionary, the villain of the plot.
Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
