The winter anime season is already upon us, and it’s the perfect time to catch up on ‘Vinland Saga‘ because the following chapters take off the January 9th.
In this case, MAPPA has been in charge of the production of the second season, and if anyone was still worried that the change of studio could affect the quality of the anime, the new trailer removed all doubts.
Thorfinn’s Epic
The first season was run by Wit Studio, but the director Shuehei Yubata continues to lead the anime and has had the same creative team as the first chapters.
We’ve already seen some teasers that promised drama, but the latest trailer is a true wonder that promises that the animation is going to be full of details. The trailer also gives us a first preview of ‘Without Love’, the theme performed by LMYK which will serve for the credits sequence of the second season.
The plot of ‘Vinland Saga’ follows the young man Thorfinn while trying to avenge the death of his father at the hands of the mercenary askeladdand throughout the story we see him grow into a fierce warrior while being involved in different power struggles for the throne of England.
The new episodes start in less than a month, and we will be able to watch the second season of ‘Vinland Saga’ in simulcast through Netflix and also Crunchyroll with a new chapter every week.
