At just nine years old, Michelle Arellano Guillén, originally from Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico, will study Medicine at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tec de Monterrey).
With an IQ of 158 points, just two points below that of Albert Einstein, at her young age, Michelle is considered a child genius. According to information from Uno TV, her parents thought that her intelligence was due to the early stimulation they gave her since she was born, so, at first, they did not suspect that she was a gifted girl.
Karina Guillén Cruz, mother of the minor, told local media that at the age of four, Michelle already knew how to read, write and speak English. In addition, she explained that the psychologists who attended her said that her daughter was like a “little adult” and that due to her maturity, there were schools that did not accept her because the teachers “could not with her intelligence” .
She speaks four languages [además del español], speaks English, German, French and Italian. He speaks English at an advanced level and German, French and Italian at a basic level. She has been state swimming champion [y] He is a black belt in taekwondo. She has eight trophies and 890 medals in total because she is also a great athlete.

In primary school, the teachers claimed that Michelle was a very fast learner and pointed out that she needed more advanced preparation. For this reason, in November 2021, her parents went to the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), which facilitated the process for the minor to go from fourth to sixth grade.
In addition, Michelle obtained a direct pass to secondary school and in March of this year, she accredited high school through a unique Ceneval exam (National Center for the Evaluation of Higher Education).
Next August, Michelle will begin her university studies in Medicine at Tec de Monterrey. Also, she plans to become a cardiovascular surgeon, as this is her mom’s specialty. As if that were not enough, she also wants to be a marine biologist so she can help both humans and animals:
When I grow up I want to be a doctor and a marine biologist because I really like animals. I would like to be like my mother, I like her and I know it because I have also gone into surgery with her.
According to information from N+, the child prodigy will begin her online undergraduate studies on August 29, one day before her tenth birthday. In turn, the Arellano Guillén family plans to travel to the United States, since Michelle passed an entrance exam at the University of Massachusetts.
