If we mention Bilbao we are talking about a wonderful city, full of possibilities, places of interest, that make us lose ourselves in its streets and, of course, in its gastronomy. Therefore, today we want recommend five restaurants that we think is a great idea to visit without being excessively expensive.
The price, like everything else, will always be in the wallet of each one, therefore, we will talk about a quality price that is worth it and more if we read reviews of them.
Nura Bilbao
The first of the proposals is that of Nura Bilbao, which since 2015 has been installed in the heart of the San Francisco neighborhood, on Calle Dos de Mayo, and has been a total success as they approach traditional Basque cuisine with Mediterranean touches typical of cuisine Menorcan with exquisite results and quite reasonable prices. In addition, they also have a menu of the day for less than 16 euros, a tasting menu for about 36 euros… which makes it even more interesting.
Restaurant Bikandi Etxea
Bikandi Etxea, the one we find on Calle Somera 21, is a more traditional place, one of those that we could say “of those of a lifetime” and where to eat very good portions, very abundant, of high quality and, without a doubt, cheap. In addition, they also have menus of the day for about 16 euros, which means that it is always full, so we better reserve.
Agape Restaurant
Another signing is the Ágape de Bilbao Restaurant on Calle Hernani 13, the essence of which is that it is a place with traditional, simple but very tasty cuisine, above all taking advantage of seasonal ingredients but updated with modern touches, including fusion, and where we can find super cheap menus value for money.

In La Gavilla, which we find at c/ Colón de Larreátegui 32, we are going to find a very cozy restaurant that offers dishes typical of Basque cuisine where it takes advantage of local products and, above all, a pintxo bar of those that are irresistible and with prices that in relation to their quality, are more than reasonable.
Sugar
Finally, we can only recommend Sugarra, perhaps a bit more expensive than the previous ones, but not crazy either, but where our heads are going to spin with some of its dishes (especially its steaks, since the meat is the grill and barbecue are their specialty). We found it in Izaro mendiaren kalea, 4.
