Only a year separates The Flash from reaching theaters, and the first screenings of the film directed by Andy Muschietti have captivated its viewers
One of the most anticipated movies in the DC Extended Universe is The Flash, whose premiere was rescheduled from November 2022 to June 2023, but that doesn’t stop Warner Bros from starting test screenings.

According to reports shared by the Variety site, the feature film directed by Andy Muschietti has been “extremely well received” after the first projections of the initial cut.
This movie will be inspired by Flashpoint, one of the core events of DC Comics in recent years, with which a reboot of the history of the DC Universe originated.
The concern of Warner Bros executives is focused on the behavior of actor Ezra Miller, after his problems with the Hawaii police.
Despite this, Warner Bros does not plan at the moment to replace Ezra Miller as the interpreter of Barry Allen / Flash, although it is not known what the future of the Scarlet Speedster will be in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU)
What we expect from The Flash
For the live-action version, The Flash will feature Michael Keaton, who after 30 years will play Batman again in the cinema, something that has not happened since Batman Returns.
Keaton isn’t the only Dark Knight on screen, as Ben Affleck will also return as Batman, in what will likely be Affleck’s farewell to the character created in 1939 by Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
Another return expected in this film is that of Michael Shannon, who will once again play the cruel General Zod, whom we last saw in 2013, within the plot of Man of Steel.
In addition, the film will see the debut of Supergirl, a role that will be played by actress Sasha Calle, who will play a version inspired by Cir-El, the daughter of Superman in the future, who goes back in time to prevent an attack.
With the script by Christina Hodson, The Flash will be directed by Argentine filmmaker Andrés Muschetti and will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / Flash, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
The Flash will hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
