The ‘Hellraiser’ franchise comes back to life with a new Hulu original movie, the platform behind ‘Predator: Prey’ (Prey, 2022) and this morning we learned that will premiere directly on the service on October 7, 2022following in the footsteps of the prequel to the other great franchise, which has been the most watched in the history of the platform.
Another Hulu reboot of a horror movie classic.
The teaser gives us a first look at the actress Jamie Clayton like Pinhead, but it leaves in suspense the aspect of the film, which is accompanied by an ensemble cast that includes Odessa A’zion, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clarke, Goran Visnjic, and Hiam Abbass.
The new ‘Hellraiser’ movie has been directed by David Brucknerauthor of Netflix’s ‘The Ritual’, in his synopsis:
“A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”

Produces Spyglass Media, scripted by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski. Hulu’s ‘Hellraiser’ has been rated “R” for its “Strong bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual content, and brief graphic nudity.” The project is described as a “loyal, but evolved, reimagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic”, and the best possible news is that Clive Barker is on board as a producer.
