Despite the controversy that arose around the film of Flash starring the controversial Ezra Miller, the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film directed by Andy Muschietti is one of the most anticipated releases of this 2023. Just a couple of weeks after its premiere, Warner Bros. released the final trailer that seems to mark the beginning of a new era of the DCEU.
On May 23, through their official social networks, both the production house of the Warner brothers and the profiles of DC Comics and the film shared the final trailer of the film that will be released on June 15. The advance revealed new details and the appearance of more characters involved in this chaotic story of the fastest superhero in history.
Flash’s obsession with going back in time
During the teaser you can see a Barry Allen obsessed with the idea of going back in time, so he proposes his idea to Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck, who, despite the hope of the boy who promises the possibility of saving his parents, refuses to consent to it and explains the consequences that this could have in the time line.
Despite Batman’s refusal and the reasons for not traveling in time, the scarlet speedster played by Ezra Miller ignores it and, with the help of his abilities, travels to the past in the hope of recovering his mother. But, after returning to a time when his mom is still alive, he ends up in an alternate reality when he meets his version of himself from that world.
Here’s the trailer in case you haven’t seen it:
Throughout the video it can be seen that the Earth is in danger due to the attack of General Zod, played by actor Michael Shannon, a threat before which Sasha Calle’s Supergirl and Michael Keaton’s veteran Batman appear to join forces and ally to end the Kryptonians’ evil plan to take over the world.
with the famous theme Time of the British group of rock Pink Floyd as soundtrack, this latest trailer for Flash drew attention not only because of the clash of worlds that will take place throughout the plot, but also because of the nostalgia that it will bring to all those fans who noticed the presence of the epic characters of the extinct era of the “Snyderverse” of DC Comics.
