With hits like “PRC” and “Ella baila sola”, the Mexican singer Featherweight conquer the whole world to the rhythm of corridos. However, his growth has only attracted curious glances and criticism from his detractors, who claim that his voice is the product of autotune.
And it is that since his success catapulted him to appear on imposing international stages, such as the 2023 Latin American Music Awards and the Jimmy Fallon show, for some Internet users his interpretation is not up to his fame.
For this reason, a video has resurfaced in which Featherweight, whose real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, puts a stop to his detractors during an interview by interpreting the song “Ella Baila Sola” without a track and without autotune.
With just a few seconds of interpretation, Featherweight gave the necessary material to unleash an exchange of positive and negative opinions that were reflected in various messages.
