After troubling behavior that has even led to stalking and burglary charges, as well as accusations of assault and abuse, Ezra Miller has ended his flight and his silence and states that he is seeking treatment for his mental health problemsafter the news that Warner Bros would have questioned the premiere of ‘The Flash’, with three courses of action as the actor put an end to his debacle in professional hands.
The waters calm down, for now
Miller says in the statementsent via a representative to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Having recently been through a time of acute crisis, I now understand that I am suffering from complex mental health issues and have started ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone I have alarmed and upset by my past behavior. I am committed to doing the work necessary to return to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
The statement comes after a year in which Miller has been the subject of much controversy. Miller was arrested on two separate occasions in Hawaii, once in March for disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at a karaoke bar, and again in April for an alleged assault in which Miller is accused of hitting a woman in the head in a private residence.
The parents of an 18-year-old girl filed a protective order against Miller, alleging that the actor manipulated their daughter since she was 12 years old, although she has denied being coerced by Miller in an Instagram post. Most recently, Miller was charged on August 8 with a felony robbery in Vermont, where the actor residesafter allegedly stealing bottles of alcohol from a vacant local house in May.
After the series of scandals, the fate of Miller’s most high-profile project, DC’s ‘The Flash’ title was called into question. It was reported then that Warner had received indications that Miller, 29, whose mother had begun to accompany the actor, would seek professional help, and it seems that this is the path that has been taken, it seems that definitely.
