a Machiavellian plan
One of the disturbing returns at the start of the third season was that of Sylvester Pemberton, better known as Starman, who had presumably died after the Injustice Society attacked the Justice Society of America headquarters, defeating all its members.
It turns out that Starman was just a disguise, as Pemberton’s body was revived by the Ultra-Humanite, who orchestrated the attack alongside the Icicle, who kept Pemberton’s brain alive and hidden, whom they used as a Trojan horse.
The final battle
Several family problems were resolved in the course of the final battle, the important thing is that Cameron finally discovers that his father is Icicle, one of the main villains of the Injustice Society.
Stargirl, STRIPE, and Doctor Midnight defeat the Ultra-Humanite and manage to keep Pemberton’s body on life support, in case they can find Starman’s brain, which is hidden in a mountain.
Courtney finally finds Becky, The Gambler’s daughter, to whom he gives the letter he wanted her to have. While Artemis tracks down Icicle’s hideout in Denmark and with the help of some discs he manages to end the villain’s life, finding justice for his parents.
Is it the true ending?
The final scene sends us 10 years into the future, where The Shade achieves his redemption and is now the visitor’s guide at the Justice Society museum, counting as Courtney is now Starwoman.
Pemberton returned to life to become Starman again, and new elements joined as the Sandman and Green Lantern.
The end of this scene gives us the return of one of the most important characters in the Arrowverse, in the case of Jay Garrick (John Wesley-Shipp), who is looking for the Justice Society for a new adventure, so this adventure would never end.
In Mexico and Latin America, the three seasons of Stargirl are available on the HBO Max digital platform.
