Netflix just put date on arrival of the rate with ads a Spain with which he wants to continue growing and revalidate his leadership in the world of streaming. His arrival in our country will take place the next November 10 at 5:00 p.m.
Spain is part of the first group of countries that will be able to enjoy this new subscription plan, and its arrival in Spain has also been confirmed. Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Here we will review everything you need to know about it:
All the details of the new Netflix plan
How much? The price of the Basic Plan with Ads in Spain will be 5.49 euros per month, a fairly significant reduction compared to the 7.99 euros of the cheapest rate available so far. It’s not as brutal a descent as rumored, but it’s not bad either.
What does it offer and what does it not? With this new plan you will have access to almost the content of Netflix, since the platform itself recognizes that “some movies and series will not be available due to licensing restrictions“, but they are working to completely eliminate that restriction. In addition, the download service will not be available to watch something offline. The image quality will be in 720p, the same as the basic plan.
How many ads will it have? Netflix’s promise is that there will be 4-5 minutes of advertising for every hour of content you watch. It also clarifies that it will be shown both before you start watching a series or movie and during their playback. Come on, if you want to see ‘Blonde’, there will be several cuts throughout the film. Each of the spots will last between 15 and 30 seconds.
And what about the rest of the plans? Don’t worry, Netflix will not follow in the footsteps of Disney + and will keep the rest of the rates as they were until now. It is true that there was already a price increase last year and let’s not rule out another one in the near future, but right now everything remains as it is.
