The actress elizabeth olsen continues to give interviews to talk about his character’s journey in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and what can we expect from the Scarlet Witch in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
First of all, Olsen revealed that they made sure that the evolution of Wanda Maximoff continue in this movie after what was seen in the television series Scarlet Witch and Vision.
We got to do a lot with the character, a lot with the story, and I just wanted to make sure that we continued to evolve in this movie and play into things that our fans or audiences hadn’t seen from it yet.
Speaking about the character’s journey spanning eight years now, Olsen said he hopes that whatever comes after the sequel will be something exciting. With this, the actress referred to the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which actually leaves Wanda’s future in the MCU a bit up in the air. Olsen hinted that there are a couple of different versions of what could happen, but he also wants to hear the opinions of the fans about what should happen in the future.
There are a couple of different versions of what could happen at the end of this movie. Mostly, I want to hear what the fans have to say, because they know her best, about what they would like to see from her in the future.
I think Wanda is always around the corner, so I don’t feel bad saying goodbye to her.
The actress also had a moment to praise the work of her co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, whom she describes as one of the best actors today, and with whom she would like to work outside of Marvel.
I am a big fan of him. He is one of the best actors out there right now and I wanted to see the process of him. I also look forward to working with him outside of Marvel, because I’d like to have another, more stimulating experience with him.
