In 1984 the film Beverly Hills Cop turned the actor Eddie Murphy into a world star. Now The company of streaming Netflix is preparing the fourth part of that saga, for which several members of the original cast have been confirmed.
Although until now details about the plot of the film have not been officially known, it will be an action comedy directed by Mark Molby. Murphy (who will produce along with Jerry Bruckheimer) will return to play detective Axel Foley, originally from Detroit. Judge Reinhold Y Josh Ashton will once again play the roles of cops Rosewood and Taggart, respectively, while Paul Reiser will be Jeffrey Friedman -a friend of Foley’s- and Bronson Pinchott will play Serge again, a role that the actor himself says made him known in Hollywood.
In the film – which will be titled “Beverly Hills Cop-Axel Foley”– will also act Joseph Gordon-Levitt Y Taylor Paige. Since 2015 Eddie Murphy received several ideas with the plot for this fourth part of the saga, but he rejected them, arguing that he would only play that character again if there was a spectacular story. And it seems that the script of Will Beall convinced him, because the new tape is already in production.
