Chris Pine, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant, the stars of the film, appeared at a hotel located on Paseo de la Reforma, in Mexico City. At a press conference, they talked about their work on the feature film directed by filmmakers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the latter present.
Pine recounted that the cast gathered for a four-hour session of the board game to get an idea of what they were up against, Pine having never played Dungeons & Dragons before.

The red carpet that led to the Dungeons
Later, in a shopping center south of Mexico City, hundreds of fans gathered for the red carpet, where they cheered on the cast of the film. A huge dragon, surrounded by smoke, surprised the attendees, as well as a creature projected on the ceiling that reflected the flames coming out of its snout.
Chris Pine, who plays “The Bard”, walked in wearing a fancy yellow suit, talked about his classic 80s inspirations for his character, and began giving interviews before approaching fans who excitedly tried to get an autograph.
It was the turn of Sophia Lillis who has the role of “The Druid”, a shapeshifter. This she wore a black outfit with flowers, but without a doubt she highlighted her big smile.
Finally, Hugh Grant (“El Pícaro”) entered, who was received by a huge number of followers, among shouts and applause he met the public to take photos and grant some signatures. Also present were Jonathan Goldstein, co-director of the film, and producer Jeremy Latcham.
The closing was the screening of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The cast visited the room to dedicate a few words to the attendees.
The meeting in Mexico closed the tour of the cast to promote the film, which is now available in theaters.
