Fantastic Beasts star Jude Law has been cast in a Disney+ series from Jon Watts, Chris Ford, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
Jude Law, an actor we have recently seen once again as Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, will star in a new Star Wars series, titled Skeleton Crewa series that will feature a cast of children as protagonists accompanying the actor and will take place after return of the jedi sharing the same timeline as The Mandalorian. So it is to be expected that Din Djarin and Grogu’s paths will cross with the characters in this series.
Featured at Star Wars: Celebration, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew It will premiere on Disney+ in 2023, and has been described as a coming-of-age adventure with a cast of young tweens. Jude Law will presumably serve as the main adult figure of the Disney+ series, either as a mentor figure or perhaps as the main antagonist. (Further details have not been disclosed.) Although if it has been possible to see a concept art of the new series, which you can see below.

An interesting path the series could take would be to introduce these children as a new generation of Force-sensitives, potentially opening the doors for Law to serve as a more experienced Jedi figure. After all, Jon Watts has proven his expertise in telling a coming-of-age tale with the trilogy of spider-man by Tom Holland, which makes him the perfect candidate for this job.
With Law signed on and the ongoing search for four young actors to lead the project set to premiere on Disney+ in 2023, filming for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew it should start in the next few months for its premiere at the end of next year.
