To the director Calmatic commented about his intentions with the film:
“We took some elements from the original, like a white man and a black man playing basketball, but we’re changing it up. We’ve got a whole new story, a whole new approach, a whole new tempo, a whole new rhythm, but it’s going to be something that everyone can enjoy. I can’t wait for the world to see it. I think it will be great too. We closed editing maybe a couple of days ago. I feel like we need to finish the sound mix, add some songs in there, color correct and go through the final stages of publication. And then, I’m sure the guys will see something very soon. It will definitely come out this year.”
