The director Patty Jenkins has given a surprise to the fans of the character “Wonder Woman”, because reported that he has just finished the script for the third film in the sagathough he doesn’t yet know when production might start.
On her way through the Matera Film Festival, Italy, the 51-year-old director (also known for the film “Monster” 2003) commented on the upcoming projects of the DC Extended Universe in which she would be involved: “Last week I just finished writing the last scene of “Wonder Woman 3” and I thought: ‘I’m interested to see what happens next’. We were asked to think of ways to make more (films) and it happens by accident. I have other movies to do and I adore (the actress) Gal Gadotso that makes it better too.”
Nevertheless, Jenkins was also emphatic that after this project she will not direct another film about the “Wonder Woman” character.: “Previously I said I was only going to do one movie, then I said, ‘My God, I have to do two.’ And then I find myself saying, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to do three. “And so, even now, I say ‘That’s it’ because I always plan a three movie arc. There is a story that goes through three different movies as a whole.”
