“It will be low for a long time,” Klopp said during a press conference, referring to the World Cup that is about to start in Doha, Qatar in five weeks. “We are talking about months,” added the coach.
“He knew when we took him off the field. He knew right then and there that it was a pretty serious injury and that it could spoil his World Cup dreams,” Klopp said. “It’s a shame,” he lamented.

Jota would remain as the starter for the Portugal National Team in the Group H matches of the World Cup against Ghana, South Korea and Uruguay.
The World Cup will start on November 20 and Portugal will debut four days later.
Portugal had lost winger Pedro Neto last week due to an ankle injury sustained in a game with Wolverhampton that will require surgery.
