Under the command of filmmaker Shawn Levy, filming of Deadpool 3 has formally begun in London, a film that currently closes phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But the start of filming on Deadpool 3 comes with the return of another franchise acquaintance, as Rob Delaney returns as Peter W.
Peter was part of the X-Force, alongside Domino, Bedlam, Shatterstar, Zeitgeist, and Vanisher, as a strike force under Deadpool.
If you remember the second part, except for Domino and Deadpool, all the members of the X-Force die in the mission to rescue Firefist.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick return to put together the plot of this new installment, in what will be the first Marvel Studios film that would be classified for adults only.
The filming of this film, directed by Shawn Levy, could start in the course of 2023, with a cast still to be defined, in the first film of the character created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, now for Marvel Studios.
With Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman leading the cast, Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024, as a possible closure of phase five of the MCU.
