The versions of Superman 78 and Batman 89, played by Christopher Reeve and Michael Keaton respectively, have become canon within the history of DC Comics.
Two of the films that marked history for DC Comics were Superman from 78 and Batman from 89, the first film adaptations of the most important icons of the publisher, which has established that these tapes inhabit the same universe.

With Crisis on Infinite Earths, in 1985, the existence of a great DC Comics Multiverse was established, where it was established that the different timelines, titles, and both editorial and film and television projects would be established in different lands.
With the existence of versions of Superman and Batman, played by Christopher Reeve and Michael Keaton, DC Comics has finally unveiled the land where these two heroes operate.
In the one shot Dark Crisis: Big Bang, Barry Allen, better known as Flash, investigates details about the different lands that exist in the Multiverse, and their most notable characteristics.
In these notes that Flash takes, the Scarlet Speedster discovers Earth 789, in which only Superman and Supergirl have powers, while the Kryptonians and Batman are the only heroes operating on this earth.
It is striking that in this land, in addition to the versions of Superman and Batman that we saw in the 70’s and 80’s in the cinema, Supergirl also operates, taking into account the film starring Helen Slater.
