Bautista decided in 2013 to leave his career in WWE, added to the fact that he was going through a very critical economic moment, being bankrupt, since three years before no businessman had hired him to fight.
“And when I got the role of Drax in Guardians, I hardly worked in three years I was broke… when I say broke, my house was repossessed, I had nothing… I sold all my stuff. I sold everything I earned… I had problems with the IRS. I was lost in everything”.

Rings were a thing of the past, starting with Guardians of the Galaxy, Bautista began to have more work on the big screen, so he decided to focus on his acting career.

Dave Bautista will be present at both the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special, which will premiere on November 25 on digital platforms.
