In full presentation of Max, the new (or change of hat) Warner Bros. Discovery platform that will come to replace HBO Max, the company has revealed the first trailers and presentations of some of his most anticipated series. One of them is ‘The Penguin’, the spin-off of ‘The Batman’, which will land sometime in 2024.
Made by Colin Farrel, the series will consist of eight episodes in which we will be told how our Oz will begin to forge a name in Gotham City’s criminal network after the death of Falcone. Beyond that, plot details are still under wraps.
Oswald’s Rise
In the cast of ‘The Penguin’, along with Farrell we can see Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael ZegenCarmen Ejogo, François Chau and David H. Holmes, among others.
Lauren LeFranc is in charge of writing this spin-off, after Matt Reeves and company decided to step back as director of ‘The Batman’. She is in her place Craig Zobelwhich will film the first three episodes of a series that will fill the gap between the film and its sequel, which will arrive in October 2025.
