Two years ago actress Christina Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosisbut despite this, he proposed to fulfill his work commitments, such as the third season of the series Netflix “Dead to me”. His efforts have been rewarded, for she is now nominated for a SAG Award (awarded by the Hollywood Screen Actors Guild) in the category of Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
However, who was also the protagonist of the program “Married with children” declared to Los Angeles Times that this event will be the last awards ceremony that he attends, since his retirement from acting is almost a fact: “Right now I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 am and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me currently. (In Dead to me) I was a mess every day, but there were times when I broke down on set and said, ‘I can’t, we have to take a break, I need half an hour,’ and everyone was so nice that it turned out okay.
Christina also commented that due to inactivity and medication she gained 40 pounds. Going back to acting in a leading role is out of the question for her, but she does seek to “do a lot of voices in off to earn some money, to make sure my daughter is fed and we are safe at home…I have a lot of ideas in my mind, I just need to put them into action”. The SAG Awards will take place on February 26.
