If you have not lived isolated from the world, you know what we are going to talk about if we name Will Smith and Chris Rock. It’s been a year since the slap at the Oscars and the comedian takes practically the same time preparing a monologue in which, of course, he had to talk about the subject. This Saturday, the comedy special was broadcast live from Baltimore on Netflix and Rock has not been left with the desire to sing the forty.
argumentative slap
There is no better way to answer what happened than controlling your own narrative, on stage, with a paying audience to see you explain it. “People always say that words hurt. Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face“. It was just the beginning of a set in which Will Smith was not going to get rid of the fact that the words hurt him.
In the last ten minutes of his show he began to throw right hands avoiding taking the role of victim. Instead, he praised Smith’s physique compared to his own: “This guy does all his movies shirtless. You’ve never seen me make a movie shirtless. If I’m in a movie having open-heart surgery, I’m wearing a sweater.” In fact, “Will Smith played Muhammad Ali in a movie. Do you think I auditioned for that? Damn, even in animation, this bastard is bigger. I am a zebra. He is a shark. What the fuck, man?” Then she talked about that time the Smiths were on TV talking about Jada’s cuckolding.
For those of you who don’t know what everyone knows, Will Smith’s wife was fucking his son’s friend, okay? She normally wouldn’t talk about this shit. But for some reason these blacks put that shit on the internet. I have no idea why two talented people would do something so low. What the fuck? All of us here have been fooled. None of us have been interviewed by the person who cheated on us on TV. None. Like “Hey, I was sucking someone else’s dick. How did that make you feel?”
After commenting that everyone insulted him, Rock ends with “Everyone! And who did he hit? Me! A black he knew he could beat. That’s from being a son of a bitch!“. After saying he watched ‘To Freedom’ only to get beaten up (“You’ve left a hole!”) he ends in the best possible way, ending any possible conversation on the subject. “A lot of people said to me, ‘ Chris, how come you didn’t do anything to pay her back that night? Because I have parents. Do you know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people“. The last blow, definitely, has been taken by Will Smith.
