Renfe, the Spanish railway line, will soon arrive in France with very competitive introductory prices. These services will have prices ranging from 29 euros (545 Mexican pesos) for example, on the journey from Madrid to Marseille, or only 19 euros (357 pesos) for transport between Barcelona and Lyon.
The company’s board of directors has announced the main lines of the pricing policy that it will implement upon its arrival in France, where it wants to become a reference operator. Its direct competition will be the national company SNCF, which in Spain operates through Ouigo.
