If he does nothing we were celebrating that we could finally see ‘Champions to the World Cup: Oliver and Benji’ streaming after so many years, now we have the great news that they are also returning to television.
This anime series retells the beginnings of the manga of ‘Captain Tsubasa‘, including Oliver’s first steps as a player in the youth championships, although the last arcs already take us fully into his professional stage as an FC Barcelona player and the road to the 2002 World Cup.
From one world to another
So with the World Cup in Qatar so close, it seems like the perfect time for ‘Champions towards the World Cup: Oliver and Benji’ go back to television. At the time the series could be seen on several networks, but as of today November 14th will be broadcast on ClanTV.
The broadcast will be Monday to Friday, at 2:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.. In case the schedules do not fit us completely, the anime series will also be available for free streaming from RTVE Play as the broadcast progresses.
As for its arrival on Netflix, it seems that it came to nothing, because it was assumed that the anime could have been seen from mid-October on the platform and it is not yet in the catalog. A month later, apparently here we have the explanation, with a change of plans for its broadcast in Spain when RTVE became the license.
