It was last December when Celine Dion reported through a video posted on instagram that He suffers from a neurological disease known as “Stiff Person Syndrome”, which causes him pain and difficulty in his movements. That caused him to postpone his presentations to resume them in the spring and summer of 2023, but now he shared a long message in which he once again cancel their shows until further notice.
The 55-year-old Canadian singer explained in her post the reasons that led her to make this decision: “I am very sorry to disappoint you all once again. I am working very hard to get my strength back, but going on tour can be very difficult even when you are at 100%. It’s not fair to you guys that I keep postponing shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s better that we cancel everything now until she’s really ready to go on stage again. I want everyone to know that I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again! – Celine xx…”
Celine has not performed in concert since 2019and with the tour Courage 2023-2024 He was going to tour more than 15 countries on his triumphant return to the stage. As for the Stiff Person Syndrome, it is an incurable disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, causing difficulty in movement and spasms throughout the day.
