A train that passes through various towns in southern Canada and the northern United States. In addition to getting to know new places, the mission of this train is to promote different important values such as sharing. Well, in addition to offering various shows with local singers, they also bring food to those most in need.
The dynamics are simple, the artists’ shows are totally free, upon arrival in each new city attendees are only asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food.
Thanks to this, it is possible to bring thousands of tons of food to local food banks, which will reach the stomachs of the people who need it most.

The Holiday Train program has been running for several years, since the first time in 1999 they have raised more than $21 million and collected 5 million pounds of food to donate to community centers across North America.
“With the support that Holiday Train provides, we can be sure that many people will have hot, nutritious food on their tables in the colder months,” said Mary Anstett, vice president of Neighborhood Services in Minneapolis.

The route begins in Montreal and from there there will be two trains that make the trip through both northern countries.
The train is approximately 1,000 feet long and has 14 cars decorated with hundreds and hundreds of LED lights, plus one car designed just for the performers.
