As every December 12, several artists went to the Basilica of Guadalupe to sing the traditional Mañanitas to the Virgin, and this year Camila Fernandez was one of the invited artists, but one of the most moving moments came after her participation when he broke down in tears when he remembered his grandfather, Vicente Fernández.
The daughter of Alexander Fernandez was one of those invited by TV Azteca to attend the religious celebration that takes place every year in the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City. On this occasion, the 25-year-old singer not only moved viewers with her interpretation of the song “Eternal love”, but during an interview he could not contain his tears when dedicating his presentation to his grandfather.
And it is that, this December 12 is also fulfilled the first death anniversary of Vicente Fernándezfor which her granddaughter Camila revealed during an interview with the program “Venga la Alegría” that she has not yet managed to overcome this painful event for her and her entire family.
“I still don’t have 20, but yes, I always remember him happily, we remember him with all the love, he was a sun, incredible personality and what better than to be singing to him and to the Virgin at the same time”, he mentioned on the verge of tears.
And although for a moment he felt that he would faint, he remembered the first advice that “El Charro de Huentitán” shared with him, who he points out was an expert for television.
“My first presentation on TV I went with him, who gave me… sorry, I’m getting dizzy… but he gave me his blessing and there He gave me a lot of advice right from TV, he was an expert for TV, and I do remember him with a lot of love and we miss him a lot, ”he commented.
Likewise, through his official Instagram account, he shared a photograph in which he appears together with the late interpreter, where he confessed that he still needs him a lot: “I still can’t believe that you’re not here, what a beautiful party the Virgin and you must have I miss you a lot, I love you dad.”
