This 2023 marks the 15th anniversary of the premiere of ‘Breaking Bad’, one of the most applauded series in television history. This universe had been closed last year with the final episode of ‘Better Call Saul’, but that has just changed, because Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul they just brought back the characters of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the most unexpected way.
A nice promotional campaign
We owe this “return” of ‘Breaking Bad’ to PopCornersa brand of snacks that wanted to make noise for the next super bowl. For this reason, he has hired both Cranston and Paul to resurrect these mythical characters in a promotional spot that you can see below. And beware, they are not the only actors in the series to return.
Surely most of the fans of the series created by Vince Gilligan still remember Tuco Salamanca, the unforgettable villain from the first season of ‘Breaking Bad’ played by Raymond Cruz whom we could also see in a handful of episodes of ‘Better Call Saul’.
Obviously, this does not mean that ‘Breaking Bad’ is going to return with new episodes -in addition, the spot takes the beginning of the series as a reference-, but it never hurts to see Walter and Jesse together again, even if it’s with purely advertising reasons. Yes indeed, I’m sure Cranston and Paul’s bank account appreciates it even more…
