HBO MAX, has presented the official trailer of the house of the dragon spin off of the popular series Game of Thrones
THE HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, which will have its first season with 10 episodes, premieres on Monday, August 22 on HBO Max. Based on fire and blood by George RR Martin, the series is set 200 years before the events of Game of Throneswith the Targaryen House and its dragons as the main protagonists.
HBO has released the official trailer that sheds a little more light on what we will see in this new series based on the universe created by George RR Martin, which will also feature a truly luxurious cast, with Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen , younger brother of King Viserys and heir to the throne. An incomparable warrior and rider of dragons, Daemon possesses the true blood of the dragon. But it is said that every time a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin.
The trailer also reveals the intentions of Rhaenyra Targaryen, played by Emma D’Arcy, to accede to the throne as the king’s firstborn. She is of pure Valyrian blood and a dragon rider. Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything… but she was not born a man to be able to rule. Something that will undoubtedly try to change at all costs.
