After launching a line of skincare products and exhibiting several pieces as a sculptor, Brad Pitt has presented its third project in less than two months. It’s about the reopening of the legendary French recording studio Miravalfounded in 1977.
Together with the producer and engineer damien quintard (whom he met a little over a year ago) Pitt gave an interview to Billboard in which they gave details about the reactivation of the place, which was closed for more than two decades and which is located in the state of Provence, eight hours from Paris and precisely above the Miraval wine factory, from which the actor owns 50 percent.
The studios have offices, booths with instruments and microphones, recording consoles and all the services. Brad proposed to Damien a year as a limit for the renovations to be ready, and even he supervised the construction of a pool, bedrooms, living rooms and other rooms, because It is planned to offer visitors the paid stay as a resorteven if they are not going to record an album in the building.
The study Miraval en Provence has been the place where great music stars -such as Sting Y george michael– recorded successful albums, and recently it was revealed that the singer sade -absent from the scene for more than ten years- is the first artist to produce new material after this reopening, which has Brad very excited, since he considers her one of his great idols and “a real royalty”.
