If you remember one of the final scenes, where Shuri would be challenged by other Wakandan tribes who wanted to access the throne.
But Mbaku is the only one who makes this commitment, only to warn that the brand new monarch attends to other matters.
In this deleted scene, which is shared by the IGN portal, Okoye arrives at the border where she talks with her uncle, who tells her that she should fight for the throne of Wakanda, since she is a great leader, regardless of the fact that she is no longer who leads the Dora Milaje.
This scene could set the stage for future Marvel projects, whether it’s Okoye seeking the throne of Wakanda in Black Panther 3, or the warrior being the one to guide the Midnight Angels, the elite group of Wakandans.
Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from the world powers that intervene after the death of King T’Challa.
As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must unite with the help of the Dogs of War, Nakia and Everett Ross, and forge a new path for the Wakandan kingdom.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will feature the return of Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Lupita N’yongo and Angela Basset. Mexican Tenoch Huerta joins as Namor the Submarineer.
Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now available on the Disney Plus digital platform.
