On June 2, one of the best political series returns, at least at a European level. Nine years after we said goodbye to Birgitte Nyborg, ‘Borgen: Kingdom, power and glory‘, a sequel/season 4 of ‘Borgen’. After its broadcast in Denmark, it will arrive on Netflix next month and we can already see its trailer.
Sidse Babett Knudsen and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen they return to their respective roles as Birgitte Nyborg and Katrine Fønsmark. The first is as a newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs; meanwhile, the second returns to journalism as news director of a national television network.
The fight for the arctic
The thread of the story will revolve around the control of the Arctic, something that is dynamited when a company discovers oil in Greenland. There will begin an international fight in which the Kingdom of Denmark is the weakest rival.
Mikkel Boe Følsgaard Y Lucas Lynggaard Tonnesen are the main additions to a main cast that includes Søren Malling, Signe Egholm Olsen, Mikael Birkkjær, Lisbeth Wulff, Lars Mikkelsen, Laura Allen Müller Smith, Jens Albinus, Lars Knutzon, Peter Mygind, Morten Kirkskov, Gitte Siem Christensen, Angunnguaq Larsen, Freja Riemann, and Kasper Lange.
Adam Price, creator of the series, continues to lead this season 4whose eight episodes ended their broadcast in Denmark last April.
