Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe will bring us back to the two most irreverent characters in animation.
The youngest may not remember it, but these two charismatic characters triumphed in the mtv at the end of the 20th century. Now they will return with a new movie titled Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universein which they will travel through space and time.
Here we leave you the trailer of the animated film:
What do you think? Without a doubt, they have managed to capture the essence of the original series, since they are still just as silly and obsessed with sex.
What is the movie about?
Official synopsis:
In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, leading to a space shuttle ride, with predictably disastrous results. After passing through a black hole, they resurface in our time, where they search for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. SPOILER: They don’t score.”
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe features the original creator of the series Mike Judge. This is explained by the president of ViacomCBS Entertainment and Youth Group, Chris McCarthy: “We are thrilled to once again be working with Mike Judge and the great team at 3 Arts as we double down on adult animation at Comedy Central. Beavis and Butt-Head were the defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to see them navigate the treacherous waters of a world light years from their own.”
The original series was about these two characters watching and discussing music video clips while having fun adventures. Because of their way of understanding life, they were almost always misunderstood by other people. The show ran from 1993 to 1997, although in 2011 there was an attempt to revive it. In addition, there is already a movie that is quite funny in which they travel through the United States.
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe will be released on June 23 in Paramount+.
