The Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny devastated during his two presentations at the Coachella 2023 festival, being the headliner. However, A controversy arose after a Twitter message criticizing Harry Styles was projected on stage at his first show and it began to speculate if there was an enmity between the two.
It was just when the melody of “El Apagón” began to sound on stage on April 14 when the message was seen that made reference to Harry Styles not being able to sing the Bad Bunny song, while the Puerto Rican could have interpreted one from the british
“Good night. Benito could have done ‘As It Was,’ but Harry could never have done ‘The Blackout.’” was read that night.
Before the wave of comments that the controversial tweet unleashed, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, real name of the ‘Bad Rabbit’, decided to project, in his second presentation, an apology and an explanation of what had happened. Although he did not specify a name, he said that it was a mistake by his work team and he took the opportunity to express his affection for the British singer.
“Sorry Harry, it was a mistake on my team. We love you”, was seen on the Coachella main screen.
Bad Bunny’s second presentation had many guests
At Coachella’s second weekend show, Benito brought several artists as guests to sing along with him. He caused a sensation by singing ‘La Jumpa’ with Archangel; ‘Storm’ with Gorillaz; ‘La Canción’ with the legendary singer-songwriter José Feliciano; ‘Safaera’ with Jowell and Randy; and for the first time ‘Un x100to’, the collaboration that he premiered less than a week ago with the regional Mexican band Grupo Frontera.
In all, Bad Bunny sang 30 songs on his second night of Coachella; including ‘Tití me pregunta’ with which on April 20 he won Best Urban Song at the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs).
