Despite the fact that Avengers was one of the great successes in 2012, those in charge of the special effects team revealed a major problemsculo working with Black Widow’s hair!
The work of those in charge of special effects in Marvel Studios films takes care of even the smallest detail so that the films excite the audience, regardless of the number of explosions that are planned, or if the hair of characters such as Black Widow in a scene from Avengers.

The film released in 2012 brought us the first time that these heroes came together, and in the first few minutes Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner meet for the first time, both on the track of the Helicarrier, which changes the waters for the air.
This scene was one of the most difficult for the special effects team, as they had to work at top speed to change the background scenery, according to one of those involved in special effects.
“The aircraft carrier (Helicarrier) sequence was filmed on a runway in New Mexico. Scarlett Johansson had this curly red wig. We had to find a way to put the sky behind her head instead of the mountains. That was a big pain in the butt”.
Removing the background mountains in the Helicarrier scene would seem easy to shoot, but the FX team required several hours to digitally remove the background from the shots.
“If I look at the shot now, I could probably point out all the transforms and dissolves that most people don’t see when they look at it casually.”.
Black Widow’s hair was nothing compared to Endgame
In recent weeks, some of the external companies that work for Marvel Studios for the special effects of the films denounced the unrealistic deadlines and the forced marches with which they work to leave a film impeccable.
The most recent thing reported by the Gizmodo site is that the special effects teams learn of Marvel Studios’ plans through the press, such as the decision to advance the premiere of Avengers: Endgame
“The worst was when Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame came out. In fact, they changed that release (Endgame) in a month, but they had not told us. I remember being with my team and one of my artists comes up to me and says, ‘Hey, do you see this?’ and shows me the article that says Marvel moved up the release date by a month. Then we found out from a press release that we had one less month to work on all these shots.”.
